President of Deising's since 1999, Eric is a 1992 Graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY and also holds an Associates Degree in Business from SUNY Ulster. He is married to Petula Kresser Deising, our Office Manager and head of HR. The live in Port Ewen with their children Nickolas, Jason, and Katerina.
Vice President since 1999, Norman graduated Dunwoody Industrial Institute in Minneapolis in 1986 majoring in the Science of Baking, Bread and Rolls, Cakes and Pastries. He also attended an advanced decorating course. In 1991, Norman attended the Culinary Institute of America’s in Hyde Park for continuing education courses for European Patisserie and Advanced Ice Carving. Norman has also studied accounting and business management at SUNY Ulster. He is married to Alexa Lewis Deising and has 2 boys and 1 girl.
Peter is the third generation of the of the Deising family business. He studied Business and Computer Networking at SUNY Ulster. He learned the bakery business by working at well known bakeries in Ohio, Louisiana, and California along with hands on classes at the Culinary Institute. Peter is also a store manager and one of our main decorators, specializing in fondant and sculpted cakes.
Deising's Office Manager Petula is a 1990 graduate of Pace University. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in mathematics. She worked as an actuary with William M. Mercer Inc., a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies in Stamford, CT and Atlanta, GA for 12 years. She married Eric Deising in 1999 and they have three children together.

The General Manager of our Uptown Kingston location, Betty started in our kitchen in 1988, then worked as a waitress. She managed our Midtown store then the Bakery Sales Department Uptown before her promotion to General Manager in 2015. Betty is married with 3 children and lives in Port Ewen.
The General Manager of our Midtown Kingston location, Rachel joined the Deising's team in 2010 at our Uptown Kingston store. Rachel was promoted to her current position at our Broadway store in 2013. A graduate of Kingston High School, Rachel lives in Kingston with her son.
